Fender's third wave of Acoustasonic guitars are their best iteration yet and this acoustic take on their iconic surf machine lives up to the brand reputation.
The Acoustasonic is built from toneful mahogany with an ebony fingerboard (12" radius) and 1.68" nut width. The comfy neck has a deep C profile (.83"-.93"). All in all weighing in at a ridiculously light 5.5lbs.
It's handy to bop around town playing unplugged but this guitar really excels when running through an amp. The Acoustasonic Jazzmaster gives you access to 10 distinct acoustic and electric voicings via its traditional 5-way blade and continuously selectable A/B Blend control. Electric tones can be seamlessly blended into positions 1 and 2 to add electric grit and sustain. Thanks to the three pickup system (new Fender Acoustasonic Shawbucker; Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer; Fishman Acoustasonic Enhancer) the sonic options are wide open.
This guitar is lightly used but overall it's in very good condition. It plays incredibly well thanks partly to the pro techs here at EMS. They have given this guitar a full setup to ensure that it arrives to you ready for stage or studio.
