The Lafayette is the perfect marriage of 50’s Tweed and 60’s British EL84’s. The EL84 Lafayette feels like an extension of your picking hand that responds to every nuance played.
The cabinet is constructed from solid pine and feature a Baltic birch floating speaker baffle board. This floating design, as offered in several vintage classic amps, allows the speaker and pine cabinet to breath and resonant freely giving the amp a 3-Dimensional openness.
The Low and Hi settings give you either 6 or 12 watts output, respectively. Volume, tone controls and Bogner's unique 4 position Schizo switch allows a multitude of tones, many not found in vintage circuits, to be dialed in. You can dial in anything from Blackface tones to more classic British rock sounds.
