Fender Pro Reverb 1966

Here we have an amazing sounding and incredibly clean blackface Pro Reverb! Stamped with serial number A05279 (placing it in 1966), the Pro Reverb is chock full of late-60s Fender tone. More headroom than a Deluxe; Less weight than a Twin. This is the Goldilocks of amps. Just right.

This vintage baby has had some maintenance and parts swapped out over the decades but still maintains the original mojo. Electrolytic caps, along with some coupling caps and resistors, have been replaced.  While the power transformer and choke are original, the output transformer has been replaced with a Mercury Magnetics (one of the best replacements out there).

The speakers in this bad boy are a Jenson C12N and a WGS Reaper which complement one another well and give off a sweet tone whether you're running it on the cleaner side or cranking good and taking those tubes for a spin.

All of these swaps and upgrades have been to keep this classic amp running well and allowing it to keep bring BF tone to the masses.

And of course the famous Fender spring reverb and tremolo are found here. Many have tried to replicate it but few come close.

The techs here at EMS have put some final touches by re-installing the tilt back legs, replacing a noisy Reverb Driver tube and repairing the original footswitch so that its ready for more action. They have gone fully through this amp to make sure that everything is tight and sounding right.

It shows typical outward signs of love and use for an amp of this age: some dings, some bumps, some wear. None of this distracts how great this vintage amp looks and of course the sound is spot-on.

Grab this amp for your rig and it'll be ready for stage or studio. It will ship out swiftly and safely.
