Here we have a short scale beauty from the early 70's that you don't come across everyday: the Micro-Frets Signature. Micro-Frets was a short-lived brand that operated out of Maryland in the late 1960s and early '70s. The firm produced an estimated 3000 total instruments before closing its doors in 1975. On the vintage market, Micro-Frets are known for their oddball shapes and design features that set them apart from anything else produced in this era.
This Signature bass has a beautiful natural finish and is loaded with clear, powerful Bill Lawrence Designed pickups (N: 12.2k, B: 12.3k). The maple neck was crafted with a C profile and 9.5" radius. The compensated nut width measures 1 9/16". The incredible rosewood fingerboard and double dot inlays round out the comfortable, extremely playable neck on this bass. And it weighs in at just 7.9 lbs.
This bass rips and has been freshly setup but our excellent guitar techs and will ship out securely the next day in its hardshell case.
