As you could've guessed from the name, the JTS-45 from Chambers Custom pays homage to the legendary Marshall JTM45, with a few unique appointments that set it apart.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStarting with the faceplate, you've got two input jacks to choose from; a choose-your-own-adventure of sorts, \"two roads diverged in a yellow wood\" as Robert Frost would say. Fairly self-explanatory, one input offers clean headroom into the stratosphere, and the other offers saturated lead tones to high heaven.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce we proceed onto the front controls, you'll see an overall preamp gain control, 3 band EQ, presence, a shift control which adjusts the midrange frequency, and a character knob which gradually adjusts from triode to pentode mode.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one comes loaded up with a preamp section of two 12AX7's and one ECC83, and is powered by a pair of 6V6's as opposed to the usual KT66's you'd find in a JTM.
