As lead guitarist for the band Maroon 5, James Valentine has to cover a lot of tonal ground. His Music Man James Valentine signature model is constructed from an ash and roasted maple combination to get plenty of attack and snap for the band's brand of funky pop. The custom-wound humbucker and single-coil pickups give the Valentine an impressively wide tonal range, and hidden features like an active gain boost, coil splitting, and the neck heel located truss rod adjustment make the Music Man Valentine a powerful instrument with plenty of vintage appeal.

This is one of the early versions of the Valentine signature model, not to be confused with a similar looking model currently being produced under the Sterling name. This Ernie Ball Music Man guitar was assembled in the USA This very lightly owned guitar is in what might be described as "like new" condition, with barely any visibly wear or imperfections other than some common surface "swirling" under direct light and a few light marks on the pickup covers (see photos). Thanks to a fresh setup from our world class tech team, this thing is almost guaranteed to play better than a brand new one from the factory. It will arrive to you safely packed in its original hardshell case, ready to rock and roll with perfect intonation and great playability up and down the fretboard.
