This kind of looks like how Picasso would've painted a vintage Teisco guitar, which may be where the folks at Goldfinch Guitars got the name "Painted Lady." It's a weird one, but here at EMS, we like weird.
First thing you may notice on this guy is that there are 3 single coil pickups, with no pickup selector. Why, you may ask? These pickups are all wired in series, that's why! All you've got to worry about is the master Tone and Volume controls. The C-shape neck measures at 0.800" at the 1st fret and 0.875" at the 12th, so if you're used to a thinner neck you'll feel right at home with this guy.
Brand new these things can often have some pretty sharp fret ends and aren't the most comfortable to play, but our techs here at EMS have made sure to buff those out and slapped a fresh setup on it, so this thing plays even better than new.
