The latest version of the Mjolnir has a slight reduction in treble and low-mids so that it’s even more “transparent” with the gain set low and has a more natural sound with the Tone control at noon. The Gain control has been tweaked for more clean headroom and a sweeter drive sound. For those that haven’t found the perfect \"K” style pedal we feel like this take will work for you. The layout is very straightforward and simple, the knobs are Time, Feedback, and Mix with a Tap Tempo and True Bypass On\/Off Footswitches. The Time knobs allows you to get up to 600ms of delay time, but using the Tap Tempo you can push that time even further! Tapping a longer delay will begin to degrade the signal and repeats, you can use this to create some beautifully destroyed repeats or keep things quick for clear analog repeats. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\" class=\"\"\u003eThe voicing on the pedal sits kind of in-between classic analog units, it’s dark without being completely muffled and lacking clarity. I worked very hard fine tuning the taper of knobs so that everything feels right under you fingers. The Feedback control goes from single repeats for slap at minimum to self-oscillation territory at 1-2 o’clock. The Mix control took the longest to get right, at 12 o’clock you’re just shy of a 50\/50 split of wet and dry. Zach was bound and determined to find something more interesting and after poking and prodding we landed on something we think people may not expect.  Enter the WARNING knob.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe WARNING knob on the face of the pedal does not control volume, it doesn’t control gain, it controls voltage feeding the circuit! When maxed out the circuit sounds like the best of the classic circuit, but as you turn the knob down and adjust the overall voltage entering the circuit. Once the knob hits 1 o’clock something magical happens, a sub octave begins to be introduced! When and where it appears will be very dependent on your guitar and amp setup but it creates a sub octave synth effect that is unlike anything we’ve ever tried from a simple analog device. Further reducing the voltage or WARNING knob will cause even more octave things to happen while reducing the overall gain of the circuit. Internally there is a master volume so you can adjust the overall output of the pedal. Be warned, this circuit is loud! The Bosstone circuit is a relatively simple circuit combining a NPN and PNP transistor pair to get some pretty great classic fuzz tones. However the variety of tones in the original units are fairly limited. Zach was bound and determined to find something more interesting and after poking and prodding, landed on something people may not expect. Enter the WARNING knob.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe WARNING knob on the face of the pedal does not control volume, it doesn’t control gain, it controls voltage feeding the circuit! When maxed out the circuit sounds like the best of the classic circuit, but as you reduce the voltage and starve the circuit. Once the knob hits 1 o’clock something magical happens, a sub octave begins to be introduced! When and where it appears will be very dependent on your guitar and amp setup but it creates a sub octave synth effect that is unlike anything we’ve ever tried from a simple analog device. Further reducing the voltage or WARNING knob will cause even more octave things to happen while reducing the overall gain of the circuit. Internally there is a master volume so you can adjust the overall output of the pedal.
