From sweet, tangy drive to meaty, chunky distortion, prickly pear is something special…and you get two of them. They’re identical, simple drive circuits that really shine when combined. Switch between them, use one as a boost before the other for more drive, use one as a boost after the other for more volume, set them both to max for a big wall of distortion. Add length, hang on the edge of oscillation, do something weird. Global hi-cut affects both modes. From dark and moody to bright and splashy. There’s a modulation that becomes more apparent at higher feedback settings that sounds kind of like a worn out tape deck.
