The A-Designs 500HR is a dual-slot, 1RU 500-series power supply and frame that allows you to power two individual 500-series modules in a single rack space. It has two balanced XLR inputs and outputs for 2 mono channels, and can supply +48V phantom power. In addition to being the ideal companion for all A-Designs 500-series modules, the 500HR is compatible with API 500-series and most other VPR compliant modules.
The 500HR can house many different module types. Loaded with two preamps it becomes a dual-channel mic pre; with two A-Designs EM-PEQs, it's a dual-channel, Pultec-style equalizer; and with one preamp and one EQ it is a complete channel strip. Etc. Etc. Etc.
