Bringing some tube warmth and tone to the low end folks out there! This vintage handwired B-15 fliptop makes the perfect bass rig for stage or studio. A very clean piece that has seen decades of action and still ready for more. This rare NB model features a solid state rectifier (which Ampeg ran SS Recs ~'62-'64). This one is loaded up with a Jensen C15N speaker. It also includes the original aluminum tilt back leg. Along the way this amp has had a replaced power transformer and has had a cap job.
This beast is beautiful! It is in excellent condition and works perfectly. It has overall signs of its age (the ol' boy is 59 years old after all) and use with a couple of minor dings in the tolex but no major rips or tears. There is surface swirl on the chrome parts of of the head as well. The serial number on this amp is 309246.
The pro techs here at EMS have gone through this amp to make sure it's fully serviced and ready for your rig. We installed a replacement 6SL7 tube along with the 3 prong AC cord. This classic guy has been brought into the modern era and it's ready to gig. We can not ship this amp, but feel free to come see us in Nashville and pick it up!
