One look at this guitar and you may be thinking, "yeah, that guitar rocks." Well, you'd be correct! And if you know your music history, you may even immediately think of Cobain. This Jaguar was created as a remake of his highly unusual 1965 Fender that was seen on stage in the Nevermind era of the early 90s.
The alder body is complemented with a maple modern "C"-profile neck (0.843"-0.925" thickness), rosewood 9.5" radius fretboard, and a 1.65" nut width. Super comfortable and playable, whether you're chugging power chords, ripping blues leads, or strumming big open chords.
Loaded with a DiMarzio DP103 PAF 36th Anniversary neck pickup (7.77k) and DP100 Super Distortion bridge pickup (14.56k) and the classic Jag dual-circuit "lead/rhythm" design, you'll be pushing your amp with full-frequencied, heavy tones. In true Cobain fashion, this guitar sports a modified lower switch plate with a three-way toggle pickup selector and three knurled "chrome-dome" control knobs. The bridge is a black chrome Adjusto-Matic with a floating tremolo tailpiece and lock button.
This guitar is very lightly used, and shows hardly any playwear. It comes with the original hardshell case and all the commemorative Nirvana-themed case candy! Like all instruments here at EMS, it has received a superb setup from our in-house luthiers, to ensure that it arrives in your hands with fast, easy action, precise intonation, and level frets.
We'll ship this guitar to you safely and swiftly! Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about it!
