Save some shred for the rest of us, bud! Heavy tones under the soft guise of a Mexican-made Stratocaster, complete with a stock Floyd Rose from Fender. Purists will say it's egregious, but we think it's pretty fucking sweet. Weighing in at eight pounds on the dot, this guitar is the perfect companion for the Strat fan who is looking to expand their sonic palette.
The neck and middle pickups are stock, and the bridge pickup was swapped for a Seymour Duncan humbucker. The volume and tone knobs have been replaced, as well as the tuners. Additionally, the neck has been sanded down to remove the finish, or given a "speed neck", so you can zoom around the fretboard with ease!
Here are some additional specs:
- Alder body
- Maple neck/Rosewood fretboard (modern "C" profile)
- Neck thickness (1st & 12th): 0.841 & 0.885
- Radius: 10
- Nut width: 1.65
- Pickup ratings: neck - 6.78k, middle - 6.69k, bridge - 7.6k
