This candy apple red baby was made with love and care in the FugiGen factory, the origin of some of the best Fenders to come down the line. Crafted in the late 80s, this thing absolutely rips!
Crafted from alder (classic!) with a "C" maple neck (.818"-.905") with a 9.5" radius. The nut width measures at 1.65".
It still retains the stock single coil pickups (N: 4.69k, M: 4.7k, B: 4.76) which have the classic Strat tones we all know and love. Bright and snappy, dark and throaty, quacky, and everything in between.
It weighs in at just 7.5 lbs.
It has a couple of larger finish chips: inside the top cutaway and on the back edge of the body (behind the bridge near the strap button). There's also typical signs of pick swirl and surface scratches from over 30 years of love. The stock tuners have been replaced and the screw holes from the original set are visible. There are some holes near the truss rod that have been filled at some point. But nothing that detracts from this amazing instrument.
This beautiful guitar was given a fresh setup by the badass luthiers here at EMS so that it'll ship to you fully ready for stage or studio. It will ship the next day with the included gig bag.
