The tried-and-true '72 Deluxe Tele brings together an immensely playable C-shape maple neck (.842"-.972"), toneful alder body, and a pair of humbuckers that bring fat, gritty tone with a signature Fender edge. The neck features a fast and comfy 9.5" radius and a nut that measures in at 1.65".
This is a faithful rendition of an iconic instrument. But this one has been given a dose of secret sauce: in the form of a pair of Lollar Regal wide range humbuckers (Low Wind Neck:8.85k, B:10.59k)! There's a reason Lollar is one of the most sought after aftermarket boutique pickups today. The Regal captures the original tone and wide frequency range of the ’72 Tele Deluxe pickups—but with some noted improvements to the volume and tonal balance between the neck and bridge pickups.
A set of Kluson tuners round out the features that have been added to the Mexi guitar to make it the best it can be!
This guitar has light signs of love and use. There is playwear across the pickguard and front finish of the guitar along with a couple of dings and bumps. On the back side it's fairly clean with light, surface-level buckle rash and surface scratches.
