The Fender Vibrolux Reverb! A holy grail of Fender tone. This one has the “it” sound.
Stamped with serial number A740064, placing it in the year of '77, this sweet classic amp retains the original transformers. It has received a partial recap at some point in its long career (filter caps replaced, and final coupling caps replaced with small values to tighten up the bass). The original speakers have been swapped with the vintage voiced WGS G10C/S speakers. And of course the original AC cord has been replaced with a safer, modern 3-prong.
This vintage baby simply sounds outstanding and is in 100% optimal working condition. Its 35 watts pumped through the pair of WGS 10" speakers is absolutely killer. And the famous Fender reverb and tremolo are to die for. This fella needs a new home!
The pro techs here at EMS have gone through this amp to make sure everything is clean, tight, and sounding right. Overall it has wear, bumps, and bruises consistent with its age. It still looks great and of course sounds amazing.
