The Garcia Amplification Tube Overdrive pedal is a custom unit built by Matt Garcia in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Featuring two 12AX7 preamp tubes running at proper high voltage, this pedal really delivers the goods!
At gain levels from zero up to 12 o'clock, you'll find lots of wonderful tube driven tones ranging from subtle and nuanced up to reminiscent of an old Marshall at full tilt! Beyond noon on the gain knob will take you in tight, punchy gain that is sure to put a smile on your face.
The best thing about this pedal is that it feels and acts like an amp channel rather than a pedal. It responds to boost/overdrive pedals in front in the best possible way, and if you put your delays, verbs, etc. after it on your pedalboard, it's like putting them in an effects loop, keeping them clean and unaltered by any overdrive.
With a full 3-band EQ and plenty of output on board, the Garcia Amplification Overdrive pedal also sounds great pushing the front end of a dirty amp! You can easily tame the low and high bands for an extra mid push, or accentuate the treble frequencies for a bright boost with all of the tube magic happening.
