You'd be hard-pressed to find another SG like this! The classic rock machine we all know and love, this one rolled off the USA line in 2001. Constructed from toneful mahogany with neck binding on a rosewood fretboard (12" radius). It has a tapered neck (.800"-.966") and has been given a bone nut (1 11/16").
Since coming from Gibson this fella has gone through some changes. The stock chrome hardware has been swapped out for gorgeous gold hardware including a set of Grover tuners. So now he looks nice and classy. The humbuckers have been replaced with Gibson 57 Classics to bring in that vintage tone and give it the sound of early rock n' roll.
This guitar has received a headstock repair here at EMS. It is rock solid and has been sanded and sprayed so that it looks beautiful and difficult to tell there was ever a break. In addition it shows typical signs of playwear and love (some buckle rash, surface level scratches on the front and back of the body and some wear on the back of the neck: see pics).
The pro techs here at EMS have also give this beast a fresh setup so that it's ready for stage or studio the moment it's in your hands. It'll ship out in its OHSC the next day.
