The Blackwood Larrivee L-03 has become a very rare piece that is just an absolutely jaw-dropping guitar. Larrivee's L-body has round-shouldered dreadnought shape with a Sitka spruce top and the solid Australian Blackwood back and sides that make this guitar so special. Maple binding with thin, dark trim just sets this guitar off. The mahogany neck has a comfortable C profile (.867"-1.383") with a 15" radius and a roomy 1 710" nut width. When strummed, it has a round, full tone that is big and resonant.
When you're ready to plug up, it is outfitted with an LR Baggs Dual Source System pickup (ribbon transducer and dual source mic) that recreates the tone of this amazing guitar to get your tone to the people. The volume controls are hidden next to the soundhole.
This guitar sounds and plays damn near perfect, especially now that our kickass luthiers have given it a full fret level and setup insuring that it ships to you ready for stage or studio with zero issues. Overall it is in very good physical condition. It has some minor bumps and dings that only skin deep and do nothing to detract from the looks or playability of this guitar. We wills hip it out to you the next day with the included hardshell case.
