The Blue Tube is a low to medium gain pedal, good for pushing an amp that's already overdriving, or adding organic tube overdrive in front of your clean amp!
The Blue Tube was designed by B. K. Butler and uses high voltage to drive an 12ax7 tube to the point of breakup for true tube overdrive tones. Definitely not a high gain pedal, it's strong point lives in the low to medium gain sounds with a very musical mid control and powerful mid and high controls.
