For the offset lover who wants a little more muscle out of their guitar tone, this MIJ Jag Special has the vibe of the classic offset build, but the added beef of humbuckers instead of single coil pickups.
The neck has a comfortable C-profile with thickness measuring 0.83" at the 1st fret and 0.915" at the 12th fret, fretboard radius of 10", and a nut width of 1.66".
Under the hood, the stock pickups have been swapped out for a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a Jazz model in the neck with an output of 7.27k, and a Stag mag in the bridge with an output of 16.57k. The rhythm circuit has also been modified for coil splitting. This thing has no shortage of tone options!
This guitar is lightly used, and shows minimal signs of playwear. Some minor surface swirling, and some very small dings, but other than that it is in excellent condition and plays like a dream thanks to the fret level and setup from our top-shelf luthiers.
