There's nothing that gives that vintage sound quite like an old Silvertone. Full of character and vibe that only time and outdated circuitry can make. Some say there's a spirit in the electronics. Others say it's all about how you play it. We on the other hand, lie somewhere in the middle. At the end of the day we just got love for these little guys!
Made by Danelectro and sold through the good ol' Sears catalogue, these little combos came fresh off the line full of fun quirks. Yet! Silvertone persisted, eventually learned how to spell tremolo (seriously look it up), and refined the circuit a bit so that by the end of the 60's you got the masterpiece you see here. This example has been meticulously maintained and kept as original as possible! As a matter of fact the only "modification", if you will, is a new Weber G12Q! Specifically chosen for its vintage voicing that keeps all of the awesome vibe you'd expect from this vintage beauty. Other than that, this amp has been given a fresh service and is ready to join your amp arsenal!
