Custom made by amp designer John Capito in Nashville, Black Tape amps bring vintage circuits to the modern player. John is known for his guru level amp knowledge and for his top notch handwired amps, like this Custom 35.
Only two of these heads are in existence. The lucky player who John designed this for requested an amp voiced like a pushed blackface Vibrolux Reverb that's driving a Bassman cab. That's the vibe. This handwired beauty is loaded with a pair of 6L6's pumping 35 watts through a trio of WGS 10" speakers, simply put it's a badass head & cab. Lastly, the controls are dummy simple: (from left to right) you have Master, Treble, Middle and Bass dials. This beast is built with high quality parts and rugged enough for the road.
