Holy headroom, Batman!

Earth Sound Research were cloning just about everybody in the business back in the early 70's. From Peavey to Sovtek, Marshall to Plush, and just about everything in between, Earth made some surprisingly sweet PTP wired dupes that were a fraction of the cost of their name-brand counterparts. This KT/3000 model was presumably their attempt at cloning a Marshall Major amp.

The elusive KT/3000, like the Major, is powered by a monstrous quad of KT88 tubes, giving it up to an ungodly 200 watts of output power. You'll be hard pressed to get any breakup out of this amp, and if you do attempt, please wear ear protection! Even with the channels jumped into one another, this thing is just pure cleans all the way up to ten, making it not only a great bass amp, but also a fantastic pedal platform for guitar!

Take a look at the back panel and you'll see not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR speaker outputs. That's right, you can power two full stacks with just this one amp and punish your neighbors with pure vintage 70's tone.

This amp is CLEAN, especially considering its age. It's got some fresh caps and power tubes, so you won't have to worry about getting it serviced in the near future. It has been given a clean bill of health by our amp tech, and it is ready to rip!

It is HEAVY as hell, so shipping ain't gonna be cheap, but we can ship it to you if you absolutely MUST have it. But wouldn't you rather come pay us a visit here in Nashville instead?

Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about this amp or anything else in our store!
