There’s nothing quite like that full, woody life-giving tone of a hollow body bass! Lay down some low end, Jefferson Airplane style, with this 1960's German built Klira bass. You may have seen a Hofner floatin around or EB-2 along the way but man when have you seen one of these?
It's got that sweet maple laminate hollow body design with loads of thump and woodiness. The neck is a D Profile made from mahogany with a 9.5" radius rosewood board (.875"-1.01') at a 1.66" nut width. Hell yeah!
All that tone is pumped through the Epiphone designed JCB-1 low impedance humbuckers (8.7k N, 8.4k B) to give you the exact punch that god and Jack Casady intended for this bass. Controls are simple: two independent volume and tone controls with a unique 3-position Vari Tone selector.
This bass is in excellent condition. If you look closely you might find the slightest of surface level playwear? But come on! It is incredibly clean! The setup has been perfectly dialed in and the frets are level and have tons of life left. It's ready to join your rig. It does not include a case but will be packed safely and securely and shipped out the next day!
