Introduced at Winter NAMM 1989, the DFX9 Digital Delay was DOD's first compact digital delay pedal, and was intended to compete with the Boss DD-2 and DD-3 series of digital delays, which were introduced a few years earlier.

The DFX9's basic circuit was likely derived from the DigiTech PDS 1000 Digital Delay and its descendants. It has a rotary toggle switch to select between delay times of 3.5-15.6 ms, 13.8-62.5 ms, 55.5-250 ms, 222-1000 ms, and infinite repeats up to 1000 ms.

This pedal shows some signs of love, but it functions as it should! We'll ship it to you packed nice and safe. Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about it!
