The Super Electric Warp Sound is a re-creation of the rare Vorg Warp Sound. It is essentially a dirty, resonant filter with sweepable frequency. The controls are Envelope (frequency), Volume (output level) and Distortion. The distortion control was an internal trimmer in the original pedal, so that has been replaced with a knob for ease of use. The other change made from the original was to remove the buffer, so that it has true-bypass switching.
What gives it its unique 'warped' sound is the clipping, which produces off-pitch harmonics. The Warp Sound is especially useful when paired with other pedals, especially fuzz and can breathe new life into old pedals, synths or samples. It's capable of quite a hefty boost, especially at low frequency settings.
