Adding to the company’s line of unearthed vintage gems, the tone wizards at Evil Eye FX have conjured the Warg Fuzz. As savage as its namesake, the Warg is a modern revamp of the Ace Tone “Fuzz Master” FM-3 - a uniquely aggressive high-gain pedal made by the predecessor of Roland/BOSS in the early 1970s.
Bringing this circuit into the 21st century, the Warg introduces an additional EQ profile switch to flatten out the scooped midrange of the original fuzz, perfect for cutting through a mix and melting the faces off any unsuspecting sound engineers.
Despite its feral exterior, the Warg is refined under the hood, with several quality-of-life improvements, like silent soft true-bypass switching, top-mounted jacks, high-end German-made hardware and premium internal components.
