The Mint Drive was NativeAudio's first step into this wild world called the music industry and the Mint Drive welcomed a range of dirt tones that expanded from a beefy clean tone to a sparkly jangle.
In 2018, NativeAudio stopped production of the Mint Drive during our rebranding from Red House Electronics to NativeAudio. These were sad times...
But Now!
The Mint Drive has been one most requested pedals to revisit since its departure and we are happy to announce that NativeAudio has produced a limited reproduction of the Mint Drive.
What are the updates for v3?
• Hybrid LED/Silicon clipping to maintain bass clarity and allow for more dynamic response.
• Improved shape control that reacts differently than our traditional tone knob and allows for some sparkly goodness.
• Expanded gain range that starts at a classy transparent and heads towards an amp-like grit.
• Vintage v2 Mint Drive labeling that features custom artwork for volume, gain, and shape controls.
• Red House Electronics stamp of approval located on the left of the foot switch.
• Smart switching system that provides standard on/off latching and momentary operation.
• Buffered-bypass design to optimize signal integrity with any instrument cable length.
• Other hardware updates that increase the overall reliability and performance.
