Carlos Lopez has been in the guitar making industry for almost 2 Decades. Prominently known for his work as Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop, Carlos's career as a luthier has culminated in launching Castedosa Guitars. These guitars are some truly masterful builds, and we're head over heels for them.
Named after the street where Carlos's grandfather bought his first home, the Marianna harkens back to Carlos's California roots in both name and body style. That familiar T-style body is constructed of alder, weighs in at a comfortable 6.8lbs, and is finished in a sweetly aged vintage white. Something really special about a nice vintage white with a tortoiseshell pickguard. The quartersawn roasted maple neck has a medium V profile, thickness measuring 0.85" at the 1st fret and 0.92" at the 12th fret, and is complemented by a rosewood 12" radius fretboard.
It comes loaded up with a pair of Castedosa hand-wired TS humbuckers, controlled by master volume and tone knobs and a 3-way blade pickup selector. And we can't forget the Mastery bridge and trem so you can get your wiggle on.
These Castedosa guitars are absolutely incredible, and we don't expect these to last long in the shop! We'll ship it to you super fast and super safe in its original hardshell case.
