Holy damn! This is a stunning looking Epi Les Paul Standard in a tobacco burst finish. It was produced in the Land of the Rising Sun at the legendary Fuji-gen Factory and has made its way to our fair shores.
Crafted from toneful mahogany, it features a medium C neck profile (.81"-.90") with a fast, playable 12" radius rosewood fingerboard. The headstock is the traditional Gibson open book style (which looks legit). The original nut has been replaced with the 1.70" bone nut that it now has.
The stock pickups have been replaced with a set of Monty's Guitars PAFs (7.16k N, 7.63 B), and it's loaded with a 50's-style wiring harness. Warm dark tones on the neck pickup, biting treble tones on the bridge. It don't get much more classic.
This lightly used Paul has its fair share of bumps, bruises and love. But that's the way it goes in the topsy turvy world of rock n' roll. There is playwear overall including some dings on the neck, back, and side. There is a fair amount of buckle rash on the back and there are dings along the top edge of the headstock and on the top near the toggle switch. None of this detracts from how striking this stunning guitar is. At some point in its illustrious career the trapezoid inlay at the 7th fret was replaced. Finally the original truss cover and pickguard have been swapped. Details.
It has been setup and received a full fret level from our in-house luthiers and it's fully ready for stage or studio with zero issues. It includes the original hardshell case, and will be shipped swiftly and safely the next day.
