Continuing the tradition of offset Fenders with unique tonal variety, the Marauder from the Modern Player series combines familiar Fender aesthetics with modern innovations.
The Marauder features a slightly chunkier offset body, almost more akin to a solid-body version of a Starcaster rather than the more recognizable, sleeker silhouette of the Jazzmaster or Jaguar. Constructed of koto, it weighs in at a manageable 7.88lbs, and is complemented with a maple C-profile neck (0.83"-0.90") with a 9.5" radius rosewood fretboard and a nut width of 1.65".
It comes loaded up with the stock triplebucker bridge pickup with an output rating of 10.42k and the P90 neck pickup rated for 7.05k, with a master volume and tone control and a 5-way blade pickup selector switch.
