This VI has the vintage look, tone and feel that you can only get from a Guild Starfire!
This double cutaway semi-hollow guitar has stunning AAA flamed maple top, back and sides, and a solid centerblock. It sports dual LB-1 Little Bucker pickups, originally designed in the 1960s, they were an alternative to single-coil pickups. They offer more jangle than a PAF but a little more warmth than a traditional single-coil. The output sits somewhere between a single-coil and a vintage-style PAF humbucker. (N: 7.25k, B: 4.94k). Working in conjunction with the LB-1s is a 3-way pickup selector, 2 volume and 2 tone controls, so you'll get you all the tones you need out of this snazzy axe!
The Starfire VI has a three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck, and a bound ebony fingerboard inlaid with mother-of-pearl and abalone V-blocks. The neck profile is a vintage soft "U" shape, measuring 0.85" at the 1st fret and 0.91" at the 12th. It has a 9.5" radius and nut width of 1.69".
This guitar also features a pinned tune-o-matic bridge with rosewood base, rosewood bridge, and comes adorned with gold hardware, 5-ply black and ivory purfling, deluxe f-hole and body binding, and a Guild Vibrato tailpiece. It weighs in at a nice and easy 7.36 lbs.
