Let's start with the bones of this beast: crafted from ash with a no-BS natural finish, this beautiful Jazz weighs in at just 7.3 lbs! It has a comfy "C" profile maple neck (.834"-.919") topped with a rosewood fingerboard (9.5" radius). With this bass, you could be swingin' like Jaco, raging like Tim Commerford, or groovin' like Colin Greenwood. The possibilities are quite literally endless!
It's loaded with your standard and loyal stock J Bass pickups for the classic tone we know and love, with the typical wiring configuration and controls of Volume, Volume, Tone (N: 2.735k, B: 2.739k).
Yarah Customs in our town, Nashville has tricked out this J out with a custom pickguard and matching...headstock guard? The traditional Jazz control plate has been changed up so that you have your typical three pots (V-V-T as mentioned above) but the output jack has been moved to a side jack.
This unique bass is used and has been played and loved. It's very clean for its age but has some light playwear over all (see pics). The techs here at EMS have given the frets a leveling and given the bass a full steup with fresh strings. It's ready for your rig and ready to bring the lowend. It does not included a case but will ship out swiftly and packed securely.
