This is a well-loved, tried and true single-stage germanium transistor boost. For increased versatility, this pedal features a multi-range switch for selecting which frequencies it boosts: Treble, Full-Range, Full Range with slight bass cut. It can drive any amp into high-gain Shangri-la, or simply act as a nice boost. These currently use the 2N1307 germanium transistor and are built on terminal strip.
