"They don't make 'em like they used to."

That could be said for a lot of things, not that Fender is making as many mistakes as Gibson is, but there is definitely some secret sauce on the 90's and early 2000's Japanese Fenders.

Crazy to think that this reissue of the vintage '65 Mustangs could technically almost be considered "vintage" itself nowadays. Time is crazy man... anyway, let's talk about this guitar!

The body of this sweet offset is constructed of super light poplar, weighing in at just 6.98lbs. It features a maple C-profile neck with a thickness of 0.850" at the 1st fret and 0.965" at the 12th, a rosewood fretboard with a 7.25" radius, and a nut width of 1.625".

The pickups in this bad boy are all stock Fender single coils, with output ratings of 5.66k in the neck and 5.67k in the bridge, and they're controlled by that classic mustang wiring.

This guitar shows some signs of playwear, which just goes to show how much the previous owner loved this guitar. It is in excellent playing condition thanks to our expert in-house luthiers who gave it a full fret level and a fresh setup, ensuring that it has low, easy action, precise intonation, and zero fret buzz or splatty notes.

We'll ship this sweet CIJ to you super fast and super safe in its hardshell case! Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about it!
