One of the rarest (and most expensive) Boss pedals has been recreated and made more affordable by our sweet pal Isaiah from Yesterday Effects.

Enter the Slow Gear SG-1 from BOSS's vintage, made in Japan catalog. Introduced in 1979, the Slow Gear is a filter designed to be an automatic volume/swell pedal. The Slow Gear circuit cuts your signal’s attack to a threshold set by the ‘sensitivity’ knob, the sound then increases in volume at a speed set by the ‘attack’ knob. The toggle switch allows for longer attack times. A compressor or overdrive can be used before the SG‑1 to even out the input signal level for more consistent operation. Additionally, a delay after the SG‑1 can help to create unusual bowed, organ‑like or backwards‑style sounds. This effects has been used by the likes of Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Marty Friedman (Megadeth), and Robbie Robertson (The Band) among others. Here is your chance to obtain a legendary circuit that is normally out of reach, will you take it?
