what if my guitar needs repairs?

no problem. most used gear, is used after all. every piece of gear that we list is fully inspected by our incredible team of techs and luthiers and if there is a repair needed, we can handle it in-house and will only do so after approval from the seller.

that said, we take pride in our selection of gear here and unlike other big shops in town, we do not sell guitars that have lingering issues or need work. if your guitar needs fret work, it gets done before it hits the floor, or we don’t sell it. we’ve earned a reputation for selling gear that is plug and play, “ready for stage or studio”, and we refuse to have it any other way.

how long will it take for my gear to go live?

guitars take an average of 1-2 weeks from drop-off to live. pedals, amps and synthesizers are typically live in less than a week. we're not a big warehouse shop, so we don't have space to just stash your gear for a rainy day, and we don't want to! we want to move your gear, so rest assured we are working around the clock to make sure we get it all up and going as quickly as possible!

how long does it take to sell the gear?

good question! the gear market is weird, trendy and unpredictable. which makes it fun! but also makes it hard for us to answer this confidently. we've seen gear sell as soon as it hits the floor, same day. we've also seen really killer pieces surprisingly hit their contract end-date. no telling, but i can promise you our crew will be doing the best we can to find your beloved gear new homes!

how long is the agreement?

our consignment agreement is a 90-day period, where we just ask that you allow us to exclusively list the gear (removing facebook ads, personal reverb listings, etc..). after that time, we can still hold onto your gear to sell, but we might hit you up about dropping the price a little bit based on the market. you are also always welcome to call us at any time to adjust the asking cost!

if you want to come get it back after the time period is over, no problem! you just need to come by and square up any potential repair costs that were needed.
