Maaaaan, what...a...treat! We here at EMS certainly have a particular love for old Ampegs. We've had many a fliptop come through our doors but this ol' SB-12 has a special kick to it! It's been given the Blacktape Amplifiers treatment!
Now before you turn away shaking your fist in anger over modding a beloved dinosaur, hear us out. At its core, this amp still functions and sounds as it did hot off the line! An awesome 1x12 kinda-sorta-combo with sweet vintage voicing and easy to use controls. Still rocking the OG speaker and all! John simply wanted to make this amp a little more user friendly. First and foremost an IEC power cable input has been added, replacing the originally tied in cable and adding grounding for an extra bit of safety. Additionally, an external speaker input and output have been added to ensure optimal connection from the amp to the speaker.
