Folks, picture this: you just moved to southern California. A bunch of lame kids are bullying you (for your weak ass tone) and you just can't take it. Next thing you know, this old, unassuming repair guy (this amp) is like, "I think, I can help you!" And you're like no way you're just some old guy but, then he turns out to be a freaking karate master (one of the sickest amps to ever be created) and teaches you to beat up all those lame ass bullies (absolutely melt face) at school (on stage)! That may or may not be an abridged retelling of the karate kid. That may or may not have been totally unnecessary. However, you're still reading so it worked!

This vintage ripper of an amp is packed with tricks upon tricks up its sleeve. Immediately upon plugging it in, it wants to blast you back with the tones of the Stones. Keith Richards among many other greats have sat in the great pews of this Church of Tone and it's not hard to see the appeal.

In more tangible terms, this amp has two channel operation with identical volume and two band EQ controls, above which you'll the iconic Ampeg "Ultra-Hi" and "Ultra-low" rocker switches. The two channels are fed by two pairs of inputs. One set normal and one set bright. Continuing to the right, we have one of the coolest features of this whole amp, the footswitchable TRUE tremolo/vibrato circuit. No misnaming here, just proper, superb sounding effects that function like new off the line! We even got the original footswitch. How's that for a hot deal!

This amp in its many years of use has gotten some dents, dings, and repairs. That being said, other than the addition of a grounded power cable this sick rig has not been modded in any way. Au natural, baby!

Whaddya say? This thang's ready to rip all the rock tunes of then and now. Real question is are you? If that's a yes than come on down to the shop and scoop this baby up! Give us a call with any other questions you may have.
