A legendary circuit, no doubt. If you've ever played one of Mike's pedals, you know that the hype is real. This is a dirt box for the serious fuzz connoisseur--no goofing around here.
The BART transistor (or Big Ass Russian Transistor) became available in 2020. It has some big fuzz sounds but excellent cleanup throughout the volume pot range on your guitar. Cuts through great, with some edge and crunch to the sounds. Run the fuzz knob down a bit and the bias up a bit for cleaner sounds like the white dot NKT275.
The Sun Dial Knob is very useful on germanium pedals, especially med to high gain. It will give you different tones/sounds when turning and can be adjusted if the temperature gets hot. Lots of different tones/sounds when turning and can be adjusted if the temperature gets hot.
