A legendary circuit, no doubt. If you've ever played one of Mike's pedals, you know that the hype is real. This is a dirt box for the serious fuzz connoisseur--no goofing around here.
This killer fuzz features hand-selected RCA low gain transistors, which came back in 2021! The only Germaniums Analogman have found that are not very temperature sensitive. These are a little brighter than the NKTs (even the white dot) with a little more cut to the sound. They clean up really nicely and brighter than the NKTs when clean. Low gain still has plenty of fuzz. They are not sensitive to temperatures like most germaniums, and sound good even when pretty hot.
The Sun Dial Knob is very useful on germanium pedals, especially med to high gain. It will give you different tones/sounds when turning and can be adjusted if the temperature gets hot. Lots of different tones/sounds when turning and can be adjusted if the temperature gets hot.
