We love him, you should know him. John Capito over at Blacktape Amplifiers has been cooking up some real cool circuits for years.
This familiar looking amplifier started its life as a Hot Rod Deville and has since received a massive facelift! Capito stripped this combo down to the studs and rebuilt it with an authentic Fender fiber circuitboard completely hand-wired as a Super Reverb.
Amongst the familiar components you'd find on a Fender control panel, there's an added bright switch featuring two modes to offer both circuits found in the mid 60's amps from Fullerton. Best of both worlds at the flick of a switch! Another thoughtful addition being that each of the 6L6 power tubes have their own individual bias control to extend life and ease replacement costs over the amps lifetime.
The cab is loaded with four Jensen P10R-FEN specialty speakers designed to sound like the perfectly broken-in warm, vintage speakers you'd want paired up with this 60's circuit!
Oh, and of course....it sounds fucking killer.
