Definitely not a guitar you run across everyday.
In the '80s Carvin was doing it and doing it and doing it well.
Talk about deluxe, this mid-80s (serial #25140) SH-225 model comes built to the teeth with all the extras that were available. Loaded with now-infamous M22 Humbuckers, Schaller fine-tuning bridge, ebony board with Mother of Pearl block inlays, stereo inputs, individual coil taps and a phase switch. Whew! What else you need?
Bound Rock Maple set neck with a beautiful slim taper profile (1st - .740 12th - .890). It feels very nice, comfortable to play with a 12" radius. The nut width is 1 21/32nds.
This baby is all original and in immaculate condition to be pushing 40 years old. Seriously hardly a surface swirl anywhere.
It just got off the bench with a fresh fret level and crown and will ship lightning fast ready to plug and play with the original Carvin hardshell case.
