Epiphone EA-250 Red Burst 1970's

Straight outta Matsumoku, this Japanese-made 70's Epi hollowbody is super sweet!

Similar to the ES-335 from Gibson, the EA-250 kept the familiar body shape, but features a bolt-on neck, and it was one of the first models they began producing when Gibson moved the Epiphone production to Japan in the 70's.

The body is constructed of maple laminate, and weighs a very manageable 6.82lbs. The bolt-on maple neck has a D-profile, with thickness measuring 0.855" at the 1st fret, 0.960" at the 12th, and a 9.5" radius rosewood fretboard with a nut width of 1.675".

It comes loaded up with a pair of humbuckers with ratings of 8.22k in the neck and 8.43k in the bridge. They're controlled by a standard 3-way toggle selector switch,  and independent volume and tone controls.

This guitar shows some minor signs of playwear, as you'd expect from a guitar of its age, but it's still in great shape! Thanks to the expert fret level and setup by our in-house luthiers, this thing plays better than it did the day it left the factory. We'll ship it to you super fast and super safe in its hardshell case!
