The Embassy PRO is a sweet throwback reissue to the Embassy basses first introduced in '63. This sweet offset bass features a 34" scale and ProBucker pickups and it is the very picture of versatility. Let's get into it!
Crafted from mahogany and finished in antique white. the Embassy has an Indian Laurel fretboard (Medium C) with a nice 12" radius. The neck on this thing is fast and comfy (.842"-1.016"). The nut width measures at 1.63". Dope.
It's loaded up with ProBucker 760 pickups for the same punch and tone as the original Thunderbird basses (N: 7.78k, B:8.67k). The controls onboard are dead simple with knobs for Volume, Blend, and Tone.
And the cherry on top is that this lovely bass weighs in at a modest 7.48 lbs.
This guitar is fully stock and ready to rock. It shows signs of love and use (e.g. light swirl) and the glossy finish on the back of the neck has been take off so it's slightly smoother and less tack (see pics). None of this detracts from how sweet this bass looks or how well it plays.
