The original space age shred master: the mighty Flying V! Damn, why do we still love them so much? I'll tell you why...
This 70's reissue Epi is a beautifully sick Flying V in sunburst. The mahogany body is paired nicely to a mahogany neck sporting a comfortable C profile and ebony fretboard. The neck measures .840" at the 1st fret and .950" at the 12th fret while the fretboard rocks a 12" radius. The nut width measures in at 1.69". All numbers that add up to a very natural feeling playing experience, especially when considering its modest 7.58 lb weight as well!
The pickups are the stock Epiphone T-Type Pro Humbuckers producing the fat, vintage tones you'd expect from an axe like this! (N: 7.1K, B: 7.6K). Two separate volume knobs for each pickup plus a master tone knob, all fitted with black Witch Hat control caps gets your sound right where it needs to be with style!
The playability on this Epi feels great and the tone is absolutely classic. The badass luthiers here at EMS have given this guy a full setup and fresh strings to insure that it ships with zero issues and it's ready for stage or studio! You won't find another one that's been dialed in like this one has. It will ship out the next day with the included Epiphone gig bag!
Give us a shout at the shop with any questions you may have about this sweet V.
