Here at EMS, we love old amps. All kinds: big, small, heavy, light, tube, and solid state. Every once in a while though, we get a real gem. This big ol' boy right here is a prime example of an all timer. A true classic if you will. The Fender Bassman wrapped up in a legendary 410 combo enclosure!

Now some of you may already be shouting "sold!" at your screen. To you I say strap yourself back in! We're goin to specs town.

The Bassman amp heritage has been renowned for its innate ability to provide a diverse range of awesome tones on both bass and guitar for decades (in spite of being called a bassman). These amps are kind of like potatoes, they don't care where you put em, they'll find a way to flourish. Maybe that didn't land, just bare with me.

On the front panel you'll find a dedicated "Bass Instrument" and "Normal" channel each with two inputs. Both channels at a glance look quite similar featuring the same 3-band EQ and a volume knob to control input gain. Next to the knobs, you'll be met with a small switch. This is where each channel differs in a small way that creates a big impact. For the bass side you get a "deep" switch that thickens up your low end allowing you to hold up your bands rhythm section like the concrete pillar you ought to be! On the normal side you get a "bright" switch giving your high end some extra twinkly love for those pristine cleans and lead lines. At the end of the chain for this amp is your master volume. A handy tool for when you wanna crank that gain and push this amp into its famously satisfying break up that we know and love. Man, I'm making myself want this amp! Outputting all 50 watts of your sick tone are four 10 inch speakers that freakin' sing. Thumping out chest beating bass and glassy treble alike.

This vintage must-have wears its many years of love and use right on its sleeve but still plays like a dream, character and all! Come on and scoop this thing up and you'll be taking it home nice and snug in its very own road case! Give us a call at the shop with any other questions you may have.
