Well, hellloooooo there.
This 1972 Telecaster Custom wowed us at first sight but the neck is what really made us fall in love with this guitar. Upon fingering the first chord, I knew this thing was going to play easy..... every chord change felt effortless. This honestly made me question my life decisions and why I've made things harder on myself when the answer to better playing was just around the corner with necks like this one.
Anywayssssss...this beauty is crafted from toneful alder with a comfy C profile maple neck (.870"-.910") and a 7.25" radius. Classic. And for all my fellow nerdy types out there, the nut width comes in at 1 5/8".
It's gotten some new electronics along the way with new pots and a new toggle switch; the bridge pickup has been replaced with the much-sought after Ron Ellis 50/60 T (7.23k). The neck pickup is the OG Fender Wide Range Humbucker (10.83k).
During it's long illustrious career this bad boy has also been given a full refret and the neck has been refinished But all of this means nothing if it doesn't play well, amiright?? Well worry not, the badass luthiers here at EMS have given it a full fret dress and set up so it is ready for stage or studio.
We'll ship it out to ya lighting fast the next day with the original hardshell case.
