Now this bad boy isn't just a rehouse. It's a full blown rebuild, input to output, with longevity and reliability placed on the highest pedestal. Let's start by addressing what's new and what's old. The amp is still utilizing the original transformer, chassis, and faceplates! Moving on to what's new! When rebuilding, our boy John used period correct new old stock parts dating from the late 60's to early seventies to rebuild the amps circuit. Which is a true to form AB763 by the way that has been modded to allow players to access the tremolo and reverb effects on both channels. The head cabinet as well as all maintenance parts such as tubes, capacitors, and resistors are all brand new to keep it kosher. Like we said, reliability and longevity were a must for this build.
Speaking of tubes, this amp has yet another trick up its sleeve. It's been modded to have individual biasing for each power tube. This allows for reduced maintenance cost according to the builder as well as the ability to mix and match tubes to the players liking. It is currently loaded with two EL34's and two 6V6's. The amp is also rockin some hefty new power and output transformers. This amp may have seen plenty of gigs in its day, but for now? You're practically getting a whole new amp! All while still maintaining that sound and soul that you know and love from a Twin Reverb.
